Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin layers of material placed on your tooth surface to mask discoloured teeth, fillings or change the shape, size or uneven gaps between the teeth of your smile. It is dine in two sittings, whereby the dentist removes a layer of your teeth, usually done for upper 4 or 6 teeth. An impression or mould is made and sent to the laboratory with instructions for shade matching.

The dental technician makes up the veneers according to the patient’s needs. This is then placed or inserted on your natural teeth in the second sitting. Porcelain veneers can chip or break off when used as cutting edges and may need to be replaced in time.
